- Throughout his life, Shon Taylor has looked for the place where art, business, technology and daring meet. As a founding partner of 24tix.com and Bottlerocket MFG, his career has reflected this pursuit to create technology tools that support his passion for music and the arts. Shon is now broadening this approach with a new experimental art gallery, God Hates Robots, focused on emerging artists and new bodies of work.
- Shon will discuss how robots, both conceptual and physical, reflect our complex relationship with technology, perceptions of technology, humanity, problem solving and art— and what he’s learned over the last ten years about the heart of this exchange. Come join the conversation!
“The commoditization of design and technology make it relatively easy to build a pretty robot. Understanding how to make that robot have value is much more challenging.” Come join the conversation with Shon Taylor next Thursday morning– tickets open up tomorrow at 10 AM! #creativemornings #cmslc #saltlakecity #slc A photo posted by CreativeMornings SLC (@saltlake_cm) on
